I have definitely seen many trends develop and start taking shape in the small-business sphere in 2012 that will have impact on how you market your business in 2013.   I anticipate that 2013 will bring mass adoption to some of these. For example, mobile usage is definitely going to continue to climb; and that’s not necessarily wholly to do with smartphones; it is the tablet that is contributing to this trend.  As a result, mobile-responsive websites are becoming the cornerstone to redesigning websites.  What good is your website if people can’t read it on their tablet or smartphone?

A mobile-responsive website is an effective and inexpensive approach for small-businesses.  If you are redesigning your website or creating a new one – it is imperative your web-marketer builds you a mobile-responsive website that is driven by solid marketing principles.
